Honey Tree Surgeons were called to Harpenden, Hertfordshire to remove a very large but rotten and dangerous Lombardy Poplar tree. We felled the tree by using a “Narrow Access” 30 metre platform, which is built to fit through a standard gateway. The tree was dismantled using this platform by our 5-strong man team.
As a specialist arborist and tree management company, we offer tree surgery, tree maintenance and stump removal services to clients in Harpenden, St Albans and Welwyn, as well as throughout Hertfordshire and nearby counties including Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Essex.
All trees will have to be felled at some stage, due to death or structural issues, especially when human safety is a serious consideration.
Like all our tree surgery projects, felling and dismantling trees is conducted carefully and in manageable sections, often involving the use of professional equipment in very tight or complex surroundings and environments, such was the case with this project.
We believe in recycling tree waste, so once a tree is felled, we make good use of the wood by delivering cheap but good quality kindling and wood chippings (ideal for weed suppression) or seasoned firewood to local clients.
