How We Work
Our no-nonsense approach, safe-working practices & health and safety at the forefront of every working day shows that we take what we do seriously. All of our industrial equipment, from chainsaws to cherry pickers & personal protective equipment, is fully maintained, tested and independently inspected by qualified mechanics & engineers, ensures they are in good working condition.
We operate strictly within accordance with Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 & the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.
In addition to ensuring suitable safe working systems are in order, to manage the risks associated with tree surgery, having the correct insurance policies in place allows us to further mitigate any risks to our clients.
All permanent staff members currently hold a valid DBS, Disclosure and Barring Service Check, formerly known as a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau Check). This is a requirement to ensure our clients peace of mind when entering their property.

Are you insured?
Yes - we're covered by 5 million pounds public liability insurance & 10 million pounds employers liability.
Do you have proof of your qualifications and insurance cover, if so can I see it?
Yes - available upon request.
Do you offer free no obligation quotations?
Yes - please give us a call anytime to arrange for a free written quotation at a convenient time that suits you.
Will you remove the waste or do I need to organise its removal?
All waste will be cleared and removed by us, however should you wish to retain the waste products for your own use, you're welcome to do so.
Remains will be placed in a location of your choice, subject to available access.
Payment is requested on completion or within seven days, via cash or bank transfer.
What happens when I call Honey Tree Surgeons?
Upon your enquiry, we'll liaise with you to set up a suitable time to conduct a free no-obligation onsite arboricultural consultation.
We'll carry out a detailed assessment of the work required, create a risk assessment & review any health & safety issues.
After our meeting, you'll receive a quotation for the works agreed in detail. Should you chose to select us, a commencement date will be agreed.
On completion of the quoted works, you'll receive an invoice payable within seven days as highlighted within the initial quotation & as per Honey Tree Surgeons Ltd terms and conditions.
Tree Preservation Orders (TPO’s)
You should know that conducting any type of work as an arborist (or as the property owner) on a tree that has a TPO is an offence, unless all the necessary permissions have been sought & obtained via your local authority.
Heavy fines can & have been imposed ranging from two to twenty thousand pounds for individuals who have chosen to ignore or willfully damage protected trees.
