Honey Tree Surgeons performed another tree felling and dismantling job today in St Albans, Hertfordshire. The tree was too dangerous to climb (as it was a dead tree and therefore unstable) so we used a “Narrow Access” platform to perform the removal.


Honey Tree Surgeons were called to Harpenden, Hertfordshire to remove a very large but rotten and dangerous Lombardy Poplar tree. We felled the tree by using a “Narrow Access” 30 metre platform, which is built to fit through a standard gateway. The tree was dismantled using this platform by our 5-strong man team.

On a hot and sunny day in April, Honey Tree Surgeons lived up to its name, with a sticky adventure!

Having made an initial assessment of a dangerous old Ash tree in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, that needed serious attention by a tree surgeon, we came up with a cunning plan.
